Instructions and Suggestions
The DFD Pro was designed to give you the best flash lighting choice in all situations.
In a normal room setting with ceiling, it provides 2 light sources from your flash, one bounced off the ceiling and the second from the DFD Pro. For many of you, this will be the only position you need 90% of the time.

In a room with a very high ceiling, where more flash power is needed, you may back up the light by bringing the reflector into use in varying degrees, depending on the distance from your subject. A little experimentation will show you the best position for different rooms. In outdoor situations, your DFD Pro will help to fill shadows in both close-up and medium distance subjects.
NOTE: DFD Pro works equally well without a bracket, as illustrated above, or with a camera tilt bracket. For use with a bracket, you may mount both halves on the long side of your flash (important for flashes that tilt but do not swivel, such as Vivitar).
